Equinor Peregrino Field Phase II HUC Contract
Gran Services has been selected by Equinor as a contractor for the offshore hook-up and commissioning works related to the Peregrino Wellhead Platform C. The contract became effective in January 2019 and has a duration of 21 months between planning, mobilisation and execution phases.
Technip Spool base
During 2019 and 2020, TechnipFMC has been awarded subsea engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contracts for the deep-water Mero I & Mero II oilfield developments offshore Brazil by Petrobras. The Mero development is located in the Libra block of the pre-salt Santos Basin.

MODEC do Brazil
In January 2021, CSS Venus mobilized from the Port of Açu (Br) for MODEC in Brazil to support its Maintenance Campaign of its large Brazilian FPSO Fleet. MODEC is a leading provider of floating production solutions such as FPSOs and TLPs to the offshore oil & gas industry. MODEC's units are able to handle oil & gas production in ultra-deep water as well as in harsh environments.
Total Angola - Phase II
Starting from the second quarter of 2019 up January 2019, CSS Venus supported Total Angola with its maintenance campaign on the spread moored FPSO Girassol which is located in Block 17 in 1,300 meters of water depth.
Equinor
In December 2019, CSS Olympia mobilized for Equinor in Brazil to support the Hook-up and Commissioning of the Peregrino-C platform. Gran Services, the group's Integrity and Logistics company was hired to support Equinor with the Hook-up and Commissioning of the Peregrino-C platform. The Peregrino oil field is located approximately 85km offshore Brazil, in the Campos basin, in water depths of 100m.
Total Angola - Phase I
During the first 6 Months of 2019, CSS Venus supported Total Angola with the Hook-up and Commissioning of its newbuild FPSO Kaombo Sul (Turret Moored). With a client POB of about 200 persons, CSS Venus reached a 100% availability during this project. The Kaombo project, located on Block 32, 260 kilometers off the coast of Luanda, in ultradeep water depths, ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 meters.
Total Nigeria
During Q3 of 2018, CSS Venus supported Total Nigeria on the Shutdown of the AKPO FPSO. The deep-water Akpo field, is located more than 100 km offshore Nigeria and was brought onstream in March 2009. The field's water-depths are ranging from 1,300 m to 1,450 m
Saipem
In 2018, after mobilizing under its own propulsion power from China, CSS Venus executed a 6 Month project for Saipem, supporting Total Angola with the Hook-up and Commissioning of its newbuild FPSO Kaombo Norte (Turret Moored). With a client POB of about 300 persons, CSS Venus reached a 97% availability for its client. The Compact Semi-Submersibles have a low fuel consumption and thanks to the excellent maneuverability, the Compact Semi-Submersible vessels do not need AHTS for repositioning. The Kaombo project, located on Block 32, 260 kilometers off the coast of Luanda, in ultradeep water depths, ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 meters.
Petrobras
From June 2014 to the end of 2019, CSS Olympia supported the 'Integrar Consortium', the GranEnergia and Enesa Consortium performing integrity services on various Petrobras production platforms in the Campos and Esperito Santo Basin. More than 14 Campaigns have been successfully concluded by CSS Olympia. From our 34.000m2 support base in Macaé-RJ, major production capacity was guaranteed for these projects and more than 1500 staff delivered a high quality service on the job.
Integrar Partnership with ENESA
Starting 2014 to 2019, GranEnergia has been servicing Petrobras, providing high quality Integrity Management Solutions on topsides of Offshore Platforms including FPSO's as part of the 'Consortsio Integrar', a partnership with ENESA, one of Brazil’s largest assembly and electromechanical maintenance companies, specializing in engineering solutions for construction and assembly and in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) for large industrial and infrastructure works.
